FAQ

Short answers to the questions people ask most about Mutexa.

General

Do I have to move to a new exchange?
No. Mutexa sits on top of the venues you already use. Their order books and pools stay the same.
Does it work for loans as well as perps?
Yes. The loan splitter does for Aave, Morpho or Kamino loans what the position splitter does for perps.
Which venues are supported?
Mutexa starts with the largest public venues. Launch venues are announced at launch. See Venues overview for the candidates.
Can I try it without real funds?
Yes. Paper mode rehearses a split with live prices before you use real funds.

Privacy and security

Does Mutexa hold my funds or keys?
No. Keys are generated and kept on your device, and funds stay in accounts only you control.
Can the venue see my slices?
Yes. Mutexa hides your size and liquidation price from public trackers, not from the venues themselves.
Can someone still link my slices?
A skilled analyst can still try to cluster slices by timing. Jitter, fresh accounts and privacy rails make it harder, and the linkability score shows how exposed a plan looks. See Privacy limits.
Is Mutexa audited?
An independent audit is completed before launch. See Audit.

Token and fees

What does $MUTEX do?
It is the access token. Holding it unlocks more slices per position, more venues, faster rails and lower fees.
Which chain is $MUTEX on?
Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663), an Ethereum-compatible layer 2 built on Arbitrum with ETH as gas. The token lives there; Mutexa itself works on venues across every chain it supports. See $MUTEX and access tiers.
How much does Mutexa cost?
A small fee on routed notional, with rates published before launch, plus the venue and rail fees that privacy adds. The cost preview shows everything before you confirm. See Fee model.
Is there a token contract yet?
No Mutexa contract exists yet. The address is published at launch. See Contract references.
